<p>Mississippi girls know how to cook great Southern dishes, host elegant Southern parties, and always look their best when they walk out the door. I'm sure proud to be a lifelong Mississippi girl, but honestly I can't do any of those things. I do love blue plate specials, sweet tea, any kind of party, walking my dogs Lula and Beau, watching my boys sporting events, learning all the girlie things with my two precious granddaughters, singing all the great Baptist hymns (I mouth the words since I can't make a joyful noise), going to the beach, reading a good book, being outside in the Mississippi heat, and pretty much everything about my husband! </p> <p>I graduated from Ole Miss in 1988 and taught 5<sup>th</sup> grade for one year. My short teaching career was followed by a busy life at home chasing, pitching, catching, biking, rebounding, swimming, climbing, and more chasing my two sons. When our younger son started school I also went back to school to become a REALTOR. After selling real estate in Mississippi for 20 years I decided it was time to open my own real estate company so in 2019 Dye & Company was established. </p> <p>I can honestly say I love what I do and where I live. Keeping my clients best interest at heart and using my years of experience in the real estate business ensure that my clients will have the best possible experience with their home purchase or sale. “Shannon is great. I used her for two house sales in northeast Jackson. The last one was in mid-2018. As I recall that house sold in 13 days to the 4th looker. She has a guy who will take great photos of your property (Tip: Get your house super clean and tidy before you try to sell it). She really knows the northeast Jackson market. I cannot speak to any others. Listen to her on price. I didn’t for my first sale in 2007 because I had a so-called professional appraisal done and thought I knew better. Big mistake. The house ended up selling for almost exactly what she predicted. I likely would have saved myself months of hassle if I had listened to Shannon to start with. I would not hesitate to use her again if I was still in the area.”

“I used Shannon to help me find my first home recently. She made it easy, and I ended up with the perfect home for my budget and needs! Shannon was an incredible help during the home buying process. We looked at quite a few homes together, but I couldn't quite find what I was looking for.
