<p>Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE) &amp; REALTOR</p> <p>After living for more than 30 years in Los Angeles, California, my wife, Liz, and I decided to pull up stakes and move to Savannah with our young son, Dominic, and old dog, Nessie. We toured several cities in the Southeast, and settled on Savannah because of its rich mixture of history, culture, and physical beauty.</p> <p>A few of the things that we enjoy so much about this city, in contrast to where we came from, is just how easily it is to get around town and meet your neighbors. Living in the south end of Ardsley Park, we are never more than a 15 minute drive from any part of the city and just 30 minutes from the beach. If we want to walk to a park or grab a bite to eat, there's nothing out of reach&#8230; and we are likely to see a friendly face or meet a new one along the way.</p> <p>So enamored with the Low Country were our parents that both sets (mine and my wife's) moved to the area within the first year of us being here. Though, part of their decisions may have been based on being here for the birth of our second son, Charlie.</p> <p>Moving here was definitely the best decision we could have made, and we are very thankful for the extra time we get to spend with our family now. My wife and I were commuting a combined 4 hours per day to and from work in Los Angeles (me as an eCommerce manager, and her as a handbag &amp; accessories designer), and now I am happy to say my trip to and from my office doesn't exceed 7 minutes either way.</p> <p>Whether you are looking to relocate to Savannah for work or retirement, or moving across town to a different home that better suits your family, it will be my pleasure to assist you in this next big step.</p>
