I had to clear out his home of 35 years and get it sold, even though it was in such condition that it would never pass inspection. Pete walked with me through the entire process like a brother. “We purchased our new home in May and I lost my husband 1 month later. I called the same realtor who had just sold us the house to let them know I needed to sell it. A week later, I said I needed a few days before they list it to mourn my loss. I was ridiculed and informed that the photographer was being paid by them. I apologized but stood firm in my need to take a few days to grieve. 3 days later I called them back and said I was ready. The photographer broke items and hid them but Tim said that never happened so they weren't taking responsibility. They put in the for sale sign right on top of the irrigation line and killed my plants and broke the line. When I informed them, they said the sign people were not taking responsibility. In the meantime, the broken line was gushing water resulting in almost $1000 of wasted water that I am responsible for. They offered to pay for the valve, showing they understood they were responsible, but the dead plant was never addressed. The excessive water bill (normally $40) was ignored. Then i got an offer. I was told they wanted to move in early. I paid the movers double for same day service and emptied my house into 2 storage units. On my way home from the storage, I checked my email and saw the buyers backed out. My home was now empty but I didn't want to spend more money having everything moved back in as I assumed the house would sell soon. After several months of nothing, paying storage fees, living in an empty house, I decided to take it off the market and, once again, hired movers to bring it all back. Losing my husband 1 month after relocating here and buying a house was hard. Having all these issues piled on top of that was devastating. I asked them to personally replace the dead plant because seeing it every time I stepped outside made me incredibly sad. To this day, they have not replaced the plant. I've messaged Pete several times asking for a 5 minute call but he instead had Dave call me, showing me, once again, how little this company cares. ”
