“I’ve known Melissa Howard-Filek for over 15 years, and she has helped my family through two major real estate experiences — including the recent sale of my parents’ home in Hawaii during one of the hardest times of our lives. After my father suffered a heart attack and later passed, we needed to quickly prepare my parents’ home for sale so I could move my mom to Florida. In just six intense days, my husband, mom, and I worked to clear out the house and pack her belongings so we could fly back to the mainland. Melissa was right there helping us through the process — even assisting with clearing out the home and supporting my mom during an incredibly emotional time. While we handled what we could, Melissa took care of everything else. She organized paperwork, coordinated cleaning, pest control, repairs, yard work, and made sure the home was ready to list.
