Marc Hedlund

<p>Marc grew up in Roseau, MN where he enjoyed playing hockey, football, and basketball. Marc was just 12 years old when he began working in his grandpa's local hardware store assembling bicycles. It was here where his grandpa ingrained in him a strong work ethic and exceptional customer service. One of the first lessons was, "help the customer with everything you can."</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>After high school, Marc began pursuing a degree in elementary education at MSUM. However, he soon discovered a passion for management and customer service and made the decision to find a career where those passions could be put to good use. Marc was very successful, managing several businesses, including Sidestreet Grille &amp; Pub in downtown Fargo. His success stemmed from his drive to help others in any way that he could.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Marc started Real Estate in early 2013 joining a team with a local, well know brokerage. In his time spent there, Marc found a whole new passion that allowed him to thrive in his strong work ethic and exceptional care for his clients and co-workers. In just 5 years, Marc helped over 500 people buy or sell their home and move into a new chapter in life. He has always enjoyed helping people and he sees his career in Real Estate as an incredible opportunity to help others achieve a major dream in their lives. Marc joined Exit Realty in early 2019 after seeing a company that has a culture and passion for helping people that follows a similar path he has chosen. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Marc is the father to two beautiful daughters- Annabelle and Ivy. They are an active family who loves to enjoy their backyard in the summer, and cuddle up by the fireplace in the winter. In his free time, Marc enjoys spending time with his family, working hard at his Crossfit gym, volunteering with The F5 project, a local nonprofit that helps felons and people suffering from addiction get their feet back on the ground, and spending time around positive minded people. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>When Marc was asked what drives his passion he said, "I grew up working in customer service. I learned it from my grandpa at a young age, and my father instilled it in me to always help if ever or whenever possible. The word no should never be an option. Helping is easy. You don't need to be rich, or well off- you just need to have the ability and time. Sometimes even the smallest things can be the biggest help."</p>
