<p>I'm not just a VA-licensed realtor. I'm an experienced commercial real estate attorney*. I'm a former U.S. diplomat. And, I'm a long-time Arlington resident and parent with kids that have been in the Arlington public school system. These experiences, taken together, give me the skills and perspective to help you navigate the complex world of buying or selling a home in this area.</p> <p>I will bring to my clients a truly unique combination of skills and experiences and advocate zealously for their objectives.</p> <p>&#8226; I have practiced commercial real estate law working for top firms and real estate companies in the area. Through that experience, I learned the importance of contracts and honed my drafting and negotiation skills on multi-million dollar deals. Negotiating a good and sound deal in real estate takes knowledge, skill and finesse. I will deliver all of that to you whether you are buying or selling.</p> <p>&#8226;I have served our country as a diplomat, representing the U.S. in the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. Working with people from all over the world helped me to appreciate that no matter where we come from, we all share a common need for a happy, healthy and safe life.</p> <p>&#8226; I have lived in Arlington for over 20 years renting and owning properties from Rosslyn, to Courthouse, to Ballston, to Barcroft, to Donaldson Run/Lee Heights. During that time, I went from being a 20-something singleton, to married without kids, to married with two school-aged kids. In each phase, I've come to appreciate how different neighborhoods can satisfy different needs in terms of commute, schools, access to services and facilities. Finding the right home is the centerpiece of this.</p> <p>I'm here to work for you.
