Lisa Patterson has over 30 years of sales and marketing experience. Lisa started her real estate career on the investment side, and soon discovered she had a knack for meeting a client and promptly matching them with the perfect home. Her client's say she is the hardest working Realtor they have ever met. Her hard work has paid off by being awarded the Realtor of Distinction Award numerous years running. Lisa is a member of the Top Producer's Club, Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, the South Carolina Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Lisa serves on the board of the Historic Charleston Foundation's Annual Festival of Houses and Gardens Tours. She is a member of The Charleston Preservation Society and enjoys being involved in the community. Her favorite place to volunteer is with the Charleston Historic Foundation, where she was inducted into the Frances Edmunds Society. Her true love has always been historic homes, architecture and antiques. As a child growing up in Lexington, Virginia, Lisa followed her real estate investor father to renovation sites, real estate and antique auctions. After college she purchased her first historic property of her own, a circa early1700s home. The rest, as they say, is history. Her friends often say "Antiques or homes, if it is dusted, busted or rusted Lisa will buy it and restore it." Lisa has restored over 35 historic properties. Lisa feels fortunate to call the historic South of Broad district her home and her work place. Lisa has restored many homes in the historic district. Currently she lives in a historic kitchen house, circa 1777. When she is not working with clients, you will find her walking around downtown Charleston with her standard poodle Sophia, gardening, attending an auction, or looking for another antique or real estate project. What is your favorite thing about Charleston: What's not to love about Charleston? I love the history, the culture, the beautiful architecture and the fabulous gardens. I love to walk or sit in my garden and listen to the church bells. One of my most favorite things are the amazing people of Charleston.
