“Lisa Ashely recently helped us find and close on a house that will eventually become our dream home. It was a tedious year-long search, but Lisa stuck by our side the entire time. We were very appreciative of her depth of knowledge and perspective regarding older homes and their potential. Lisa was instrumental in negotiating a lower price based on findings during the house inspection. Due to miscommunications between the seller and the seller’s agent, there were a few “bumps” that required Lisa to work extra hard over the holidays when she was trying to enjoy the season with her family. Thanks to her diligence and dedication, we closed on time, with the house we wanted, at a very fair price. We should mention, this is our second time working with Lisa! Nine years ago she helped us secure our condo in Milwaukee. As we were new to the area we relied on her knowledge of the city and it was extensive. “Lisa is a rare combination of being a really nice person that you would want as a friend AND is a savvy, fierce representative for you who looks out for her client's best interests. Lisa showed my wife and me multiple properties, did video visits to properties and, when we found one we liked, was very thorough in her research. She discovered structural building reports that were suspect and arranged for a specialized inspector to look at the property. That inspector did even more research, discovered that the property management had not made crucial upgrades and repairs and recommended we walk away. Not every real estate agent would go through that process and then recommend against buying a property but Lisa was more interested in our well being than she was in making her commission on that property. Ultimately we found a place and Lisa facilitated every aspect of the negotiations for us and we are so grateful for her diligence and expertise. She may have saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars in assessments. I could not recommend her more highly. ”
