<p>Laura grew up in Memphis, TN, but has called Mississippi home for over 25 years now. She graduated from the University of Mississippi, where she met her husband, Walt, of 20 years. Laura's huband, Walt, and his college friend, Dallis Ketchum, founded NeighborHouse in 2011. And, in 2021, Laura decided to get her real estate license and join the real estate brokerage that she had loved and supported for a decade. Laura really enjoys meeting new people and providing her services to help them through the sometimes overwhelming process of buying or selling a home. She especially loves working with first time home buyers and helping them navigate the steps from getting preapproved for a loan, to receiving the keys to their new home at closing!</p> <p>Laura and Walt have 3 kids: Hattie (13), Martin (8) and Anna (6). They are members of First Presbyterian Church, and they live in the historic Belhaven neighborhood where they have lived for over 15 years. She and Walt have loved watching their neighborhood evolve and grow, and they are excited that Belhaven now has its own Town Center! The BTC is the hub of a thriving collection of restaurants, businesses, and meeting spaces, and the Woffords can frequently be seen enjoying Mayday ice cream, a beer at Fertile Ground or just visiting with friends and neighbors! In her spare time, Laura enjoys photography, playing guitar and singing, running, volunteering at church and in her neighborhood, traveling, spending time with her family, and doing most things outdoors!</p>
