<p>With a varied professional background and extensive travel experience, Julia was innately drawn to Charleston for its unique charm and sophisticated lifestyle. Her understanding of the city's historic structures and love of colonial architecture inspired her to begin her career in real estate. Founded on determination and the highest ethical values, Julia's career has flourished and she takes pride in making each transaction as seamless as possible for her clients. She enjoys working with those who have a desire to buy, sell or invest in and around the Holy City.</p> <p>Prior to moving to Charleston, Julia has lived in a variety of cities, both domestically and abroad. She enjoys travelling and has had the fortune of meeting both the Dalai Lama and trekking to Mount Everest. These experiences have given her an appreciation for the importance of discretion, integrity and an interest in diverse cultural perspectives. She boasts a a varied professional background, first as director of customer relations for Land Rover North America, followed by a stint as the Managing Director for a boutique hotel in Telluride, Colorado.</p> <p>Julia lives with her two sons and enthusiastically volunteers with Porter-Gaud School. She is a member of a women's study group at St. Philips Church. She also has a passion for fitness and can be found running on the streets South of Broad, paddle-boarding on Shem Creek or walking over the Cooper River Bridge with friends.</p> <p>My Favorite thing about Charleston:<br/>"I love the fact that this small city is richly historic but vibrantly current. We have stunning homes, highly acclaimed restaurants, a world-class art festival (Spoleto), but the serenity of nature is literally just steps away. It is very difficult to choose only one wonderful thing about Charleston. What sets Charleston apart, I think, is that it is outstanding on so many levels. I am reminded daily of how fortunate I am to live and work here!"</p>
