“ Nice Guys Finish First This review is lengthy because I cannot say enough positive things about James Price. I have known James for nearly a decade and he has represented me as both a buyer and seller’s agent. In short, James’s impeccable character, bright personality, and real estate acumen are unparalleled and I cannot envision a better agent than James Price. Buyers Agent The buyer’s experience with James was a blast. It’s a fact that a realtor maximizes their gain on an individual buyer transaction by minimizing their showings and maximizing the cost of the sale. In contrast to other realtors I’ve worked with, it’s clear that James is smart enough to see the bigger picture and his sole focus is to maximize his client’s experience. It took me several months and double digit showings to find a home to buy. Despite his busy schedule James was always eager to show me more homes and never seemed frustrated or pushy. Seeing properties with him was always fun. At one point I was considering whether to make an offer on a property. Coincidentally another client of his decided they wanted to make an offer on the same property, site unseen. He handled the this extremely difficult situation with radical transparency and tact. He referred me to another agent to represent me for that property. Of course, James Price won that particular deal for his other client. Ultimately he helped me purchase a better luxury Rittenhouse condo for 90% of ask (national average is 97% of ask). His negotiation skills were critical in this process and he more than paid for his commission. Referrals I was originally referred to James by two colleagues that absolutely raved about James. I have subsequently referred two of my friends to James who have also had phenomenal experiences with James. My fantastic experience with James is not unique. Sellers Agent My experience with James as a seller’s agent was also nothing short of extraordinary. He had an impeccable sense of timing of the market and helped me to expeditiously get my home listed within days of my decision to sell. The listing was incredibly professional and generated a high volume of interest immediately. I had done extensive market research and was prepared to take 30K less than what we decided to initially list the property at. We ultimately ended up with a bidding war between two buyers. James’s approach was very honest and forthright with both of the potential buyers and we ultimately ended up with a tremendous cash offer of 10 K above ask, without contingencies. I have followed the market subsequently, and this has outperformed any other sale in my condo building pre-or post. James and his team made the whole experience incredibly easy. James is a man of impeccable character and given his immense skill as a real estate agente certainly is the rare nice guy that finishes first!”
