“Breach of contract, ethical failures, and complete lack of broker oversight. We entered into a legally binding contract to purchase a home listed by Holly King, an agent at Chamberlain Realty LLC who was also the owner of the property. While we were aware she was acting as both seller and listing agent, her own broker, Grant (the owner of Chamberlain Realty), had no idea she held both roles — a serious failure of disclosure and oversight. Just 10 days before our scheduled closing, Holly suddenly claimed there was an IRS lien and said the sale could no longer proceed. We did our due diligence and found this was completely false — there was no lien, and the property was titled under her LLC. It was clearly a fabricated excuse to back out of the deal for personal reasons. We had completed every part of the process: cleared all contingencies, paid for inspections, appraisal, and travel — and were fully ready to close. Even more devastating: we were relocating from North Carolina, had given notice on our lease, paid movers, sold furniture, and have a young baby. We now find ourselves homeless and scrambling to rebuild a plan with just days to spare. Chamberlain Realty made no effort to enforce the contract or hold their agent accountable. Grant quietly removed the listing and offered insulting alternative suggestions instead of helping us close the deal we were legally and ethically entitled to. We’re preparing to file complaints with multiple regulatory bodies, including the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission, to ensure no one reading this review ever has to endure the pain and stress our family is currently experiencing. If you’re considering working with Chamberlain Realty LLC or Holly King, please proceed with extreme caution. What happened to us was not just unprofessional — it was unconscionable.”
