<p>Erika was born and raised in Wadena, a small central MN community. She attended MSUM, in Moorhead, after high school and graduated in 2008, with a Bachelors of Social Work, with an emphasis in Criminal Justice.</p> <p>Erika has been with Hatch Realty since January of 2017. Prior to entering the real estate world, she worked many years in the service industry as well as working in the human services background, at the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch. The two jobs brought together, problem solving skills, a combination of independent work and teamwork, working with unpredictable situations, increased communication skills, and handling fast paced environments.</p> <p>Erika has a down to earth character and is genuinely interested in people, their thoughts, their behaviors, and why they think the way they do. It allows her to listen to her clients, and do it well. She is a natural learner, wanting to know the why behind everything. She's deliberative in the sense that she wants to do the research to avoid the potential risks for her clients and she wants to do it right the first time around. She likes to know the individual and mold her work to their needs.</p> <p>She loves working with first time home buyers as it allows her to teach and pass on the knowledge she's learned along the way, to those who have never been through the process.</p> <p>Erika enjoys movies, reading, being a foodie, sports, World War 2 History, law and political science.</p>
