Ellen DesJardins

<p>Ellen is originally from Michigan and has lived on Hawai&#8217;i Island since 2005. Her reason for moving to Hawai&#8217;i, a place she had never been, nor had any family living there, was a combination of courage and a thirst for adventure. As a result, she has acquired a vast knowledge of the Hawaiian islands and culture. She paved the way for her entire family to follow in her footsteps and make the move to Hawaii that has afforded them the lifestyle of their dreams.</p> <p></p> <p>Ellen is passionate about her continuous pursuit of personal growth and development and is always looking for ways to enhance her real estate career and service to her clients. In 2016, she graduated from the Hawaii Association of Realtors Leadership Academy, immediately followed by being nominated for and serving on the Board of Directors for Hawai&#8217;i Island Realtors. In 2017, she was awarded &#8220;Best in Client Services&#8221; by her colleagues. To date, Ellen has closed over 200 sales transactions with over $70M in total sales. At Compass, Ellen is able to combine her in-depth market knowledge and negotiating skills with state of the art technological tools and elegantly curated marketing content, to offer her clients an exceptional experience.</p> <p></p> <p>Ellen, who prides herself on her work ethic and dedication to quality service, is intelligent, vivacious, disciplined, operates with integrity, and always has her client's best interest at heart. Her years of experience on the island allows her to convey her first-hand knowledge to her clients so that they can be confident that they&#8217;re making informed decisions. Her mission as a Realtor is to exceed her client&#8217;s expectations and build lasting relationships with those she serves as she helps them achieve their real estate goals and lifestyle changes by moving to, from, or within the Island of Hawaii. Many of Ellen&#8217;s clients have continued to come back to her time and again for her remarkable level of service. Her primary areas of expertise span from the East side of the island, Hilo and the Hamakua Coast, to Waimea and the Kohala Coast. She is eager to show you the best of what the Big Island has to offer.</p> <p></p> <p>As an ambitious student, she graduated from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2015 with two degrees: a Bachelor's of Business Administration and a Bachelor's of Science. She also achieved a Plant Tissue Culture Certificate and Beekeeping Certificate. She became a licensed Realtor in 2014. Ellen, who embraces the spirit of aloha and strongly believes in giving back to the 'aina, has volunteered over 100 hours with the Hawaii Department of Agriculture's Apiary team.</p> <p></p> <p>When she's not working with clients at Compass, Ellen enjoys adventuring around the islands and the world, spending quality time creating lasting memories with her family, and enjoying all the activities that are unique to Big Island.</p>
