“Being first time home buyers in the crazy Minneapolis housing market of 2021 was intimidating, but we chose Arne based on his experience, particularly in the neighborhoods where we were most interested in South Minneapolis. His background as a contractor combined with his years in real estate made us feel so comfortable throughout the process despite the uncomfortable market circumstances he was helping us navigate. Arne is a straight shooter and helped us identify red flags in listings as well as point out the unusual risks involved in the 2021 housing market. He was incredibly flexible and responsive, and very patient in educating us as first time buyers (including some insight on the mortgage side) and made us feel like his top priority during the many months we were searching for a home. Thankfully we were able to land a great home in one of our targeted neighborhoods that was not crazily over priced, and Arne’s guidance during the initial offer and negotiations greatly increased our chances of catching the seller’s attention. We have been in our home for the second half of 2021 and are so happy with where we ended up and feel grateful to have had such a friendly and competent agent to partner and guide us through it all.
