“Alicia Rodman, Brick Group Realty, was introduced to me by a friend over seven years ago when I was considering a move to Boise. We met on a Wednesday to talk about what I was looking for, along with my sister who lives in the North End and knew where I’d want to be, and looked at three homes the next day. I put an offer in on the third house and closed in 30 days and still love it as much as I did that first day! Fast forward 7 years later when my husband and I contacted Alicia from out of state, where we’d been living for my husband’s job, with a “we don’t know if this is even going to happen” conversation about a move to McCall. She was gracious with her time and gave us tons of information about the community and market based on the knowledge she has from growing up there, as well as the real estate market that she has invested in. We continued the conversation as our plans solidified and she worked with us on our timeline to visit the area and show us homes - at 10am on a Sunday morning - during the small window we were able to be in town. During that visit she discussed the selling points of each home and community in which we looked; how we should look at the features that, should we sell in the future, would set us apart from the competition and each time we all came back to the exact same house. The house that was nestled amongst the pines and butted up to the Payette River, whose sounds of the river brought me to tears. Alicia established rapport with the selling agent since we were not in a position to make an offer given we had just listed our home. She kept us abreast of changes in the market and changes in price as we waited hoping no one else would make an offer, all information that was crucial and that we relied upon. Once the decision was made to execute, Alicia guided us through the offer and counter offer process to make as attractive an offer as possible and once it was accepted, referred us to her lending partner (Monica Davis) when ours was unavailable on a weekend and time was of the essence. They both worked quick and creatively to get a VA loan closed in record time (13 days from our offer being accepted!) even though we didn’t have a signed offer on our other home and had an additional home in Boise. All of this is to say I highly recommend Alicia and her team for any real estate transaction! She is professional, responsive, highly knowledgeable about the Treasure Valley and McCall areas and genuinely kind. We are so grateful for the connection made 7+ years ago! ”
