“My experience: he stated that he has 35 years experience dealing with VA Home Loans. By pictures and viewing he stated what the VA would approve and wouldn’t. I loved a home we viewed. As a first time buyer(which he knows) I’m inexperienced and asked my uncle to come along. After my uncle saw the roof from street view he said no way. For 175k you should not have to spend a dime. The roof was in horrible condition. However this was after a gave a down payment. I called Rob Funk and expressed my concern. His idea was that that the VA Inspecter would catch it and would force the repairs to the seller. After speaking with my lender, she stated it was a 50/50 thing. If the inspector gave the roof life over 5yrs then the repair would fall upon me. I stated that he didn’t have my best interest at heart. I was cussed out and hung up on. Reluctantly he sent a mutual release form a month ago and was signed and returned. Been waiting for my refund ever since.Wouldn’t recommend him to my enemy.”
