Realtor, SRES

Compass - Chestnut Hill · Newton, MA

Buying and selling a home can be a very personal experience and yet so many Realtors are not personable. I enjoy sitting with my clients at their kitchen table and spending the time to listen to their needs. I am approachable, experienced, and patient and try to bring humor to the process. I provide top level service, constant communication and expert advice. Most importantly for me is building long term relationships with my clients. Long after a home is sold or you have moved in I want to be thought of as a friend and someone you can call for any of your housing needs. Born and raised in Newton, Ma, I have been a Boston native most of my life. Upon graduating from Ithaca College's award winning Park School of Communications I moved back to the Boston area and started my career working in the Community Relations Department for the Boston Red Sox. The highlight of my time there was being a part of the 1999 All Star Game festivities which were held at Fenway Park. In 2004 I segued into the exciting world of Real Estate. I worked at a small boutique firm in Jamaica Plain where I was mentored by two of the most successful Realtors in all of Boston. In the spring of 2005, I was recruited to join William Raveis Real Estate and in  February of 2012 I made the  decision to move to the Keller Williams family. I currently work in the Chestnut Hill Market Center. I work with buyers, sellers and developers and in 2010 obtained my SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) certification through the National Association of Realtors. My goal is to start focusing 35-40% of my real estate practice working with this ever expanding demographic. Very few Realtors nationwide are focusing their time and efforts on this rapidly growing demographic. I feel I have the personality, skill set and understanding to excel at this type of real estate. I am a licensed Realtor, hold a certificate as a licensed SRES, am a member of the National Association of Realtors NAR), the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR), The Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GREB), Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and LINK. The majority of my business is in Newton, Brookline, Needham, Wellesley, Weston, Boston and Cambridge. When not working hard for my clients, i can be found on the golf course, watching films and spending time with my dog Riley.CHECK OUT MY INTERVIEW WITH REAL ESTATE RADIO BOSTON!  http://youtu.be/y_OvekCYkws

What my clients are saying

In 2024, I was a first-time homebuyer trying to navigate the complex Boston condo market. With specific criteria in mind, I needed a reliable and knowledgeable partner; Adam exceeded my expectations. Adam and I met when I was touring listings on my own to get a sense of what was within my budget. During a tour of a building I loved but couldn't quite justify, I met Adam, the listing agent at the time. Having stopped working with a few agents who seemed pushy or superficial, I was immediately struck by how down-to-earth and passionate Adam was. Despite my long and intentional lead time to finding the right property, Adam diligently stayed in touch every step of the way—he's quick to get back to you! He took the time to answer my questions in detail, meticulously walked me through each step of the process (such as negotiating on price and contingencies), and was always available. Working with Adam, you can quickly discern that he has a genuine love for the trade. And, thanks to his help, the seller accepted our offer—below the asking price, with credits and no contingencies waived. Not only is Adam a phenomenal person to work with, but he also carries a golden Rolodex of equally phenomenal people to work with, including home inspectors, attorneys, and agency support staff. To this day, I continue to work with Adam's recommended law firm beyond the transaction. When I look back at all of the incredible brands and people I work with, almost all of them came from word of mouth; don't discount this! I would have appreciated slightly more due diligence on certain tricky HOA (unapportioned taxes) and master parcel (650 sqft fence encroachment) tasks, but I will 100% work with Adam again. He's the best in the business!

Adam was a dream to work with. In the beginning he helped us to identify our interests and focus our search on the few neighborhoods that checked all of our boxes (we didn’t make it easy on him). He was quick to respond to any questions that we had and as he accompanied us on several walk throughs, he raised questions that we would have never thought to ask. When we finally found our dream house, he helped us with our offer and then ran point throughout the entire closing process, checking-in regularly with our attorney and our lender to make sure there were never any surprises. He is a kind and genuine person and a fantastic realtor. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a house.

This is the second time we have worked with Adam as our buyer broker. And just like the first time (helping us purchase our first home), we had a great experience with him. He was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process and keeping everything on track for the closing. It was just a great process. We love our new home and owe Adam a big Thank You for helping us purchase it.
